Mike is an executive coach who brings over 20 years of leadership and coaching experience to his clients, including CEOs, vice-presidents, senior directors and veterans. He specializes in personal and team development in support of mission and organizational goals. A Navy veteran, Mike flew on and off aircraft carriers accumulating over 500 arrested landings before transitioning to a diplomatic role serving in Africa for over five years. Through his career in naval aviation and foreign affairs, Mike developed the skills to succeed in extremely dynamic, high-stress and high-pressure situations where he was often advising and influencing senior leaders at the highest levels of the U.S. and foreign governments.
Mike uses data assessments combined with yoga principals, polyvagal theory, neuroscience, intuition and nature to help leaders cultivate their innate capability to consciously lead with passion, make bold decisions, and develop the mindset to overcome challenges to achieve the impossible.
Mike’s academic credentials are extensive. He received a BS in Ocean Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, an Executive MBA from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Master of Foreign Relations and Defense Management from the French War College. He is a ICF certified coach (ACC), Certified Executive Leadership Coach (Georgetown University), Leadership Circle Profile – certified 360 and EQ-I 2.0 – certified 360.
