High performance excellence made reality.
This first step in The Blended Solution involves live seminar/experiential based learning. Catalyst and Capstone programs are templates that can be customized by the client and Team Concepts Inc. to suit specific training needs.
Team Concepts invites you to join us in Lake Placid, NY for an incredibly challenging program that will emphasize and enhance the steps to creating and sustaining High Performance Teams, Inspirational Leadership, and Noble Purpose in your organization. Team Olympia at Lake Placid combines workshops on creating and leading high performance teams with motivational talks by Olympic athletes, coaches and teambuilding experts. The program venues include the spectacular sporting facilities from the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympic Games.
Led by Olympic athletes and coaches, you will be organized into national teams, receive team jerseys, team hats, and select team names. The teams compete together in the bobsled, loge, curling, ice hockey, and a host of other events as part of their own Olympic Festival. Gold, silver, and bronze medals are ceremoniously awarded to further enhance the experience.
The participants will be formed into equal teams. The teams will select names and create Flags that reflect their personalities and objectives. Each team will be assigned an Olympian to act as coach and team member. This process demonstrates the basic elements of team bonding and acts as a mechanism for group expression. The teams are then entered into their own Olympic tournament. As such, participants experience what it means to become a team and to strive for common goals.
The Olympic and recreational facilities of the Lake Placid Olympic Regional Development Authority will be used for the competitions. Points will be kept for each event and combined to a total score. An opening ceremony will be held where the actual torch used in the Lake Placid Olympics will be lit to ‘Let the Games Begin!’ A closing medal ceremony will be held on the banks of the Mirror Lake. Each participant will receive a medal from an Olympic athlete, honoring their achievements during the program.
